Hyacinth Henderson is a powerhouse who has been apart of the Own Your Power family since 2014! She not only has she had several shows on our network, but she’s also an advisor on the team who gives us valuable coaching on financial planning and how to expand your business effectively.

Describe your business:

I work with families, business owners, and more recently millennials to teach them how to make their money work for them. Conventional America calls it Financial Planning, I call it helping my people see the light. Most people think that if they just do what they’re told, overtime they’ll achieve their financial goals and tap into unlimited wealth. We can look around and know that’s just not true. We gotta get this money thing right and I’m committed to teaching people how to use their tools properly! As light beings on this planet, we must have access to capital in order to do what we were sent here to do. So many people have negative associations with money and their personal finances are in shambles and it really affects us as a collective. I show people how to overcome that. Some call me an Abundance Guide, some refer to me as The Money Goddess. I just know that I’m passionate about what I do, who I do it for and why it’s needed.

What inspired you to start it?

I used to believe that I was thrown into the family business because my father needed help at The Firm. The Henderson Financial Group was founded thirty years ago by my father, Certified Financial Planner™ Mr. Robert Henderson Jr. I’ve now come to realize that I was placed here by The Creator to do more than trade stocks and manage millions of dollars under management in a traditional sense. I’m here to do the soul work, to shift the consciousness so that people can understand that money is just a tangible manifestation of their self-worth and self-work. Once we innerstand and connect to that- then we can financial plan and learn how to flip our money multiple times over and to effect real change. You need money to change the world, everything else is just a march and a hashtag!

What have been some of the challenges?

My biggest challenge has been me. Remembering the essence of who I am, why I’m here and what I must do was the most challenging part for me. I mean, I had to peel back layers and learn to be accepting of the fact that my career in Financial Planning is meant to be very non-traditional and unconventional. Once I came to grips with that, then I was able to reclaim my power and help others. I’m not trying to convince anyone, I am here to confirm that “yup, there is indeed deeper levels and layers to this…now, let’s go!”.

What skills have you used to pull it all together?

I use my professional experience and licenses as tools in my tool belt to show people how to build their version of the American Dream. As a licensed Stockbroker, Registered Investment Adviser and Annuity and Insurance Broker with seventeen years of experience in the finance industry I’ve worked with a variety of people from all walks of life. The most prized skill that I have is my ability to connect with The Creator. I have no problem seeking guidance through prayer and meditation, and I let my people know that. It would be silly of me to try to lean on my own consciousness when I know that there is an abundance of goodness and surprises waiting for me in the unseen. The ability to say “hold up, I need guidance” in itself is a skill. A life skill that we all have and should develop.

What problem do you find your clients have the most of?

Lack of belief, discipline and control of their minds.

Share a success story from a client

I started working with a client who had been trying to buy a house for over a year. She was going through the traditional hoops and hurdles and not making progress until we started working together. Within a short period of us working together she aligned with and closed on her very first home. I can proudly say that we manifested her home!

Upcoming projects?

I’m releasing a guided journal It Is You: Honor, Heal Hope. It Is You is a guided journal filled with pages of insight, prompts and free space for healing through writing. I’m really excited about this project. I sat on it for over a year, yet I kept receiving confirmation that it needed to be released. I know it’s going to show many people how to move from darkness to light. It’s a powerful body of work. It’s being printed right now. What would you like your legacy to be? How do you want to be remembered?

I would like my legacy to be that I stood for truth, enlightenment and community. I want to be remembered as a change-maker and a light being who walked as a learner, leader and carrier of unconditional love. I want folks to know that I challenged the status quo and encouraged everyone to be their best selves while living an abundantly prosperous life! We gotta get this money thang right!
