The concept of Give 'N Take basically represents the old saying, "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours." It takes away the schmoozing and gets right to the point of what networking is all about. ABOUT US: Give 'N Take, provides a platform for women entrepreneurs to offer their services at no charge or reduced rates to participants. This is done via our barter exchange for goods and services such as: referrals, web design, computer consulting, public relations, time shares, airline tickets, massage, interior design, jewelry making, marketing campaigns, and many more. Our NEW barter exchange is a store with over 40k merchants, so the things you can barter are ENDLESS. Give 'N Take was launched in October 2002 as a monthly networking event for women in NYC. Due to popularity of the events, Founder, Simone Kelly-Brown decided to take the concept online as a membership and expand her event locations to open up the exchanges to an even wider group of women. In 2008, we've partnered with MOLI.com (a social network) and Dobarter.com a barter exchange, to offer even more benefits to our members. Ms. Kelly-Brown said, "I was never too crazy about networking, because of what I've encountered at many events. They were either too corporate or some attendees were there for mingling and not truly serious about taking their business to the next level.
