The Great Lock-In: Wrapping Up the Year Strong

As we approach the end of the year, it’s way too easy to drift, get distracted, or fall back into old habits. The holidays roll in, people get busy, tired, overwhelmed—and next thing you know, all those beautiful goals you set back in September during the Great Lock-In are sitting in a dusty corner like abandoned New Year’s resolutions.

But we’re not doing that this year.
Nope. Not on my watch.

The whole purpose of the Great Lock-In was to help you lock in your energy, your focus, your discipline, and your alignment so you could finish the year powerful—not frazzled. So consider this your little end-of-year reset, a friendly-but-firm reminder that the year is not over, and there is still plenty of time to shift energy and wrap things up like the boss you are.

And before you roll your eyes—no, this does NOT need to be complicated. In fact, the simpler the plan, the more likely you are to stay consistent. This is the same structure I give my coaching clients, and it’s been working beautifully for them.

So grab a journal or even the back of an envelope, and write down these four categories:

  • Health
  • Me-Time & Spirituality
  • Prosperity & Career
  • Environment

For each category, choose one thing to add and one thing to remove for the month of December. That’s it. Tiny adjustments, big energetic shifts.

Here are some examples pulled from strategies my coaching clients are using right now:

Health

Add in: A 30-minute walk after each meal.
It supports digestion, glucose balance, and clears your mind.

Remove: Sugary drinks—those juice-like imposters and sweetened beverages that sabotage your energy and your waistline. Hydration > sugar.

Me-Time & Spirituality

Add in: A 15-minute morning ritual of meditation and journaling.
Start your day with your spirit, not your stress.

Remove: Reality TV or mindless content that lowers your vibration instead of lifting it.

Prosperity & Career

Add in: A daily budget check-in.
You can’t manifest financial freedom if you’re avoiding your numbers.

Remove: Eating out impulsively.
Cooking at home more often will save you money and help you honor your financial goals.

Environment

Add in: A five-minute daily reset—clear your desk, close tabs, declutter a hotspot, clean out a few emails.
Your environment affects your energy more than you think.

Remove: Procrastinating on simple tasks like folding laundry when it’s warm out the dryer.
Stop letting “later” turn into chaos. A weekly Goodwill drop-off doesn’t hurt either.

Celebrate Yourself

Before you try to perfect everything, pause and acknowledge what you’ve already done.

Write down five things you’re proud of accomplishing in 2025.
Big wins, small wins, internal wins—count them all.

Drop a comment and tell me when your list is done.
Celebration is part of the work.
